Who are we?
Parlem is the telecommunications operator born in Catalonia which offers comprehensive mobile, internet, landline and television services and aspires to provide service to its customers in any corner of the world to both individuals and companies.
Parlem's vision
To create the first major Catalan telecommunications group
Founded in July 2014, Parlem began offering mobile phone services in December of the same year, using Orange's mobile network, as according to state law, only four companies are licensed for mobile network.
In mid-2018, Parlem offers Internet access to 3.5 million homes and businesses in Catalonia. Parlem has statewide mobile and roaming coverage, as well as fiber and ADSL access. In 2019, it expands its offer with the launch of audiovisual content services, thanks to an agreement with Agile TV. In 2021, Parlem begins trading on the stock exchange.
2014
Launch of Parlem with exclusive mobile offer in December 2014.
First call made by Mr. Xavier Trias, Mayor of Barcelona.
2015
First full year as a virtual operator.
2016
Parlem doubles its turnover.
Launch of the ADSL service with an agreement with Jazztel.
2017
Parlem duplicate its billing.
2018
Launch of fiber service to one million households.
Parlem secures a € 1.3 million round of funding through The Crowd Angel platform and becomes the most successful crowdfunding project in southern Europe in 2018.
Parlem doubles its turnover.
2019
Fibre coverage expanded to 3 million households in Catalonia.
Launch of audiovisual content services in agreement with Agile TV.
Parlem achieves a capital increase of €2M in a record round of financing; €600K of which through the online crowdfunding platform “The Crowd Angel”.
Parlem doubles its turnover for the fourth consecutive year, exceeding 10M €.
2020
The Financial Times places Parlem in the 200th position of the fastest growing European companies, according to its ranking "FT 1000 - Europe's Fastest Growing Companies 2020" and also as the first in Spain in the sector of telecommunications. More information.
Parlem becomes the official telecommunications operator of Girona Futbol Club. More information.
2021
Parlem goes public in June, consolidating itself as the country's largest local telecommunications operator. More information.
In July, Aproop was born in the Valencian Country, a new operator with its own identity within the Parlem Group.
In December, the acquisition of Infoself allows us to offer qualified services of connectivity, cybersecurity and solutions to the cloud (cloud).
2022
Parlem doubles its revenue on its first year on the stock market. More information.
Parlem buys three local companyies and becomes established as one of the first catalan telecommunications group. More information.
Parles is awarded with the seal of company committed to culture. More information.
2023
Parlem is the operator in Spain best valued by customers, according to the OCU’s satisftacion survey. More information.
